Oral care program

Oral care campaign

To motivate members to improve oral care, those who visit a dental clinic during the oral care campaign period will be awarded WEL coins they can use on WELBOX.

Eligible checkup and treatment Campaign benefits
  • Checkup or treatment at a dental clinic with a 30% copayment by presenting your health insurance card or similar document
  • Use of a dental checkup ticket issued by the local government
 2,000 WEL coins for use on WELBOX
  • A dental checkup includes checking for cavities, gum health, and other oral health conditions as well as plaque removal and cleaning for preventive health. The campaign does not apply to dental treatment not covered by insurance, such as tooth whitening and crowns.

Eligible persons

Insured persons, voluntarily and continuously insured persons
(Must be eligible for health insurance on both the date of visiting a dental clinic and the date of awarding WEL coins.)

How to apply

  1. STEP1 Log in to Kenpo MyPortal and fill out the application form.

    Click here for how to log in.
    Start from step ④ in the Login guide if you have already registered your user ID.
  2. STEP2Choose “申請書/Application form” for “補助金申請入力/Enter subsidy application” from the menu shown in step ⑥ in the Login guide.
  3. STEP3 If you underwent a dental checkup using a dental checkup ticket issued by the local government, you will need to submit documentation of the checkup date and examinee name, such as the checkup results sheet, at a later date. Instructions on how to submit this documentation will be provided separately.

    If you underwent a checkup or treatment at a dental clinic with an ordinary 30% copayment by presenting your health insurance card or similar document, you need to apply on the Web only in principle and do not need to submit a receipt. However, just in case, retain the receipt until you have confirmed that the WEL coins have been awarded.

Notes

  • No dental clinics are specified.
  • You can apply just once even if you are examined or treated multiple times during the campaign period.
  • Dependent family members are not eligible for this campaign.
  • Checkup/treatment time is not regarded as time worked.
  • You are responsible for transportation and other costs associated with the checkup/treatment.
