No application is necessary in principle. The calculations are performed automatically based on medical cost details sent to the Health Insurance Society. If you are eligible for high-cost medical care benefits, these benefits will be remitted to the insured person's account.

The benefits will be paid at some point three months after the month of the examination or treatment. But when your child before school age is eligible, contact the Health Insurance Society to adjust for the autonomy subsidy.

If you are hospitalized, you can cap the amount you are required to pay at the medical facility at your maximum copayment amount by submitting your health insurance card together with your Maximum Co-payment Certificate (the "Certificate"). (Note that you must apply to receive this Certificate.)
